Apple Supposedly Planning On Bundling AirPods With 2020 iPhones

The upcoming iPhone 2020 has been a part of numerous discussions over the last couple of weeks. In fact, the new AirPods Pro are in such high demand that Apple is reportedly doubling production.

For those who're unaware, Apple AirPods lineup is one of the most popular truly wireless earbuds in the market.

Digitimes reports that Apple may bundle free Airpods with the iPhone 12 next year, in a similar way to how Samsung bundled their Galaxy Buds with the Samsung Galaxy S10. Well, we now have yet another information on the devices.

On the other hand, Apple can simply increase the overall price of new iPhones covering the manufacturing cost of AirPods alongside.

Apple has included basic, wired EarPods with a Lightning connector in the box with iPhones for several years.

AirPods are also tremendously popular by all indications, so it is hard to see why Apple would give them away for free when millions of customers are clearly happy to fork over a few hundred dollars for them already. Those earphones likely cost Apple very little to manufacture, retailing for just $29 on its website.

We are expecting to three versions of the iPhone 12 next year, all three will come with OLED displays and they will get a number of design changes. Well, this also seems unlikely since that can potentially impact the sales for future iPhones.
