Anthony Joshua: 'When I beat Andy Ruiz, I'll say 'F*** everybody'

World heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr said he was the more skilled fighter and Briton Anthony Joshua will have to rethink his strategy in their December 7 title rematch. That's not me. I've always said the belt should never define the man. I hope he wins. Mike Tyson also added the weight cut does not make any sense and that a fighter's vanity gets the best of them. I don't show them off at night clubs. "I'm sure he's going to be ready for this". Only he really knows. "I hope he wins, I want him to win, but if he wins or not, it's a different thing".

Joshua was urged to change his muscular physique in the aftermath of the defeat, but Whyte warned him not to wipe out his naturally powerful abilities.

Speaking about the diversity of ticket sales, Frank Smith, CEO of Matchroom Boxing, said: "The matches in which Anthony Joshua participated achieved record sales around the world, whether in London or NY". That's what we've been working on most of all right now, heading into the fight. Listen to this, he must change this, "because sometimes when you have too much negativity on board can take away your strengths". At his heaviest, at his most powerful, he struck Andy Ruiz with a few big punches and couldn't put him away, so hopefully he lose weight and come down does not affect him.

Davis and James have meshed seamlessly, while their supporting cast has embraced new coach Frank Vogel's commitment to defense. Delon Wright chipped in 17 points off the bench, while Kristaps Porzingis and Dwight Powell added 15 points apiece.

Klitschko was defeated by Joshua in 2017 at Wembley Stadium with a technical knockout and the two boxers have stayed in touch even after the Ukrainian retired later that year at the age of 41.

When asked if a remission of Joshua could happen, Whyte said: "I hope so. Everything is just hope, hope in the moment". Boxing is a hard, unsafe game.

"I know exactly what it's like when you have a lot of muscle, you want to stand there and trade but I don't think that's his style. I can't let him grow balls in there". I respect him and all the fighters who risk their lives inside the ring.
