Shenmue 3 is out now after an 18 year wait

"I hope from the bottom of my heart that Shenmue III becomes special for you, truly I thank you", Suzuki said. And he'd want nothing more than to get cracking on the hopefully not 20 years-away Shenmue 4.

Shenmue 3 released for PlayStation 4 and PC. This afforded the game to have a level of world building and simulation that was unheard of up to that point.

Even aside from the long wait for a sequel, Shenmue 3 itself has been a long time coming. Shenmue II would have required every Dreamcast owner to buy the game twice, in order for the game to be profitable. It was announced with a crowdfunding campaign at E3 2015 on Sony's stage. Produced by the legendary Yu Suzuki and YS Net, the game features a number of activities, puzzles, and more.

First things first, it's worth noting that you can not change the voice track at any point in Shenmue 3 while you're actually playing the game. Despite all the hurdles faced during the development of Shenmue III, it appears that Yu Suzuki still holds strong to these beliefs.

A spokesman for the airport tells CBS Los Angeles that Flight 113 was destined for Manila when it took off just after 11 a.m. Pilots of flight 113 declared an emergency and reported a possible engine failure, Los Angeles International Airport said.

The game continues the Shenmue story with its "distinct storytelling and immersive atmosphere", providing players with new areas to explore and people to meet.

Suzuki remains hopeful: "I sincerely hope that, together, we can continue to spin the tale of Ryo and his adventures in Shenmue 4".

Kudos to Suzuki-san and his team for finally launching Shenmue III after what seems like an eternity in waiting. How long do you think it will be before we see Shenmue IV?
