Game Of Thrones star says there's an alternate ending to the series

"We shot an alternative ending", the Norwegian actor said.

Somewhere, probably locked away deep in a vault inside HBO, is (apparently) an alternate Game of Thrones ending. The in most cases gregarious Hivju clammed up when pressed extra, persevering with, "I obtained't repeat you!"

"Well, we shot an alternative ending", Kristofer Hivju, the man viewers knew as Tormund, the Wildling, told Metro.

Hivju said of reading the final script for the final episode - "The amusing thing is after Season 7 I had my theories, fans had theirs".

She said, "I'm so grateful to be accepting this award on these hallowed streets where Pretty Women sold her body for money". Kristen and Idina received their stars together outside the Pantages Theatre on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

While this "fun" alternate ending may never see the light of day, there is some hope for GoT fans desperate for their next fix. "I won't tell you!" he said before adding that "it was fun" to shoot.

Fans were so incensed by what happened that a petition to reshoot Season 8 "with competent writers" now has almost 2 million signatures. Because when you're shooting something, people know.

Kit Harington as Jon Snow and Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen in a scene from "Game of Thrones".

"Well, I heard this and I immediately thought, 'I don't think we've got the budget to shoot lots of different endings.'"
"So they're going to shoot multiple versions so that there's no definitive answer until the end". The Fate of the Furious star has just confirmed that an alternate ending was actually filmed for the HBO show.
