Zeldin: Schiff 'Much More Connected' With Whistleblower

Both were "cleared USA government officials with appropriate need to know".

However, Vindman continued to decline to provide the identity of the intelligence community member he had spoken to about Trump's call.

When Nunes further pressed Vindman about whether he had discussed the contents of the call with any member of the intelligence community, Nunes was shut down by Rep. Adam Schiff, the committee's chairman. "What agency was this individual from?"

One of those was diplomat George Kent, said Zeldin, but Schiff stopped him from naming the other person, saying that would out the whistleblower. Vindman's testified under oath at least twice that he doesn't know who the whistleblower is. "If the witness has a good faith belief that this may reveal the identity of the whistleblower, that is not the goal that we are here for, and I want to advise the witness accordingly".

Lt. Col. Alexander ("Don't call me Mr.") Vindman testified yesterday morning.

Israel's Benny Gantz fails to form government
Gantz, a longtime military leader and relative political newcomer, said his Blue and White party did everything it could. It has shaken Israelis' confidence as conflicts with Iran and Syria deepen, and vexed a usually friendly White House.

"I do not know who the whistleblower is", he testified. He did the same for other conspiracy theories surrounding the "black ledger", the Steele dossier and Burisma wiring millions of dollar to Hunter Biden, before suggesting that Democrats and Vindman were attempting to hide the identity of the whistleblower.

"The American people understand how you have affirmatively prevented Republicans from examining serious issues directly relevant to the issues", the Republicans wrote to Schiff.

Jordan told the witness, on November 19, that his superiors suspected he would be leaking information by recounting a July phone call between President Donald Trump and the president of Ukraine.

"Per the advice of my counsel, I've been advised not to answer specific questions about members of the intelligence community", Vindman said.

In early September, an anonymous whistleblower complaint lodged by a member of the intelligence community said that in a series of events culminating in a July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump used "the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 USA election".
