In debate, Democratic White House contenders back impeachment inquiry of Trump

Former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign team accidentally sent out its post-debate email hours before Wednesday's Democratic debate began. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Vice President Joe Biden sparring on the best way to ensure all Americans have health care. Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, told the House intelligence committee today that Rudy Giuliani pushed Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden because he was "expressing the desires of the President of the United States".

"Look, we have to bring this country together", Biden said.

MSNBC primetime host Rachel Maddow, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker, and Washington Post White House reporter Ashley Parker will pose questions to the ten candidates on stage.

Another early clash came between two candidates looking for big moments: Sen.

"I think that it's unfortunate that we have someone on the stage who is attempting to be the Democratic nominee for the president of the United States, who, during the Obama administration, spent four years full time on Fox News criticizing President Obama", Harris said.

Like the earlier debates, tonight's proceedings, held at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, are moderated by a panel of journalists. The former vice president claimed that Democrats should not lower themselves to the level of division that Trump and his supporters have gone to since 2016.

Biden said it's not a good idea to "model ourselves after Trump" and repeat the chant.

Biden argued that many people are happy with the private insurance that comes through their employers. "Let's start talking civilly to people".
