Harry styles throws major shad at former bandmate Zayn Malik

King of high-waisted pants Harry Styles hosted SNL on Saturday (Nov 16). But it seems that there are Zquads who felt offended, because although the singer left One Direction he is still being named or involved with them.

In a Saturday Night Live sketch that aired over the weekend, Harry Styles played the gay Instagram manager for bakery manufacturer Sara Lee, who was reprimanded after leaving raunchy remarks like "wreck me daddy" on the Instagram accounts of famous male celebs like Nick Jonas and Shawn Mendes.

The "Sign of the Times" hitmaker said: "I love those guys".

"Now, I don't know if you've heard, but I'm not in a boy band anymore", Styles said in his monologue.

"How insane would it be if they were here tonight?"

Musically, the singer steered clear of massively ambitious stagecraft, opting instead for fairly straightforward readings of his two newest singles: "Lights Up" and a vibrant unveiling of "Watermelon Sugar". Niall, Liam, Louis." before drifting off and struggling to remember the fifth member's name. "Uh. How insane would be if they were, though? Ringo. Yeah, that's it.

He added: "I'm so grateful Simon Cowell grew us in those test tubes".

Harry Styles isn't afraid of poking a little fun at himself, or his former One Direction bandmates.

Given the sheer volume of Styles fans, it's fair to say that a lot of people have seen the sketch. We shall update you if he does.

"While the explicit jokes in the skit do not align with Sara Lee Bread's brand, we know SNL pushes the envelope for laughs and are taking it all in stride", Sara Lee said in a statement to Business Insider.
