Pres. Trump defends an unlikely target: Joe Biden

As the race for the 2020 presidential election gathers pace, the bitter war of words between US President Donald Trump and his main political rival Joe Biden is expected to escalate.

Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), a media outlet controlled by North Korea's autocratic regime, attacked Biden last week after the Democratic candidate called out the country's leader Kim Jong Un for being a "murderous dictator".

"I am the only one who can get you where you have to be", he tweeted. Trump responded with a tweet Sunday morning, acknowledging that Biden is "actually somewhat better than that".

The word "tyrants" was heard at the exact moment a picture appeared on the screen of Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un shaking hands at their Singapore summit a year ago.

North Korea said on Thursday it had turned down a USA offer for fresh talks ahead of a year-end deadline Pyongyang has set for Washington to show more flexibility in negotiations.

Cortana for Android and iOS will disappear in multiple markets soon
Reports started to appear in early 2019 that Microsoft planned to change how Cortana was used fundamentally . Starting next year, the company will no longer support Cortana on either iOS or Android in certain markets.

Trump's tweet Sunday came hours after North Korea ruled out any denuclearization talks with the USA unless Washington lifts what were termed "hostile policies" against the regime, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency. Trump and Kim Jong Un have in the past exchanged "beautiful" letters.

In June, during Trump and Kim's most recent meeting, Trump became the first sitting president to step foot in North Korea in a historic move as he crossed the denuclearized zone between the North and South.

In response to the North Korean jibe, Mr Biden said he saw such insults "as a badge of honour".

The tweet comes amid an impeachment investigation into Pres. Trump's push for Ukraine to announce an investigation into Biden and his son, Hunter.

Last week, the North's chief nuclear negotiator, Kim Myong-gil, claimed that Washington had suggested another round of working-level talks in December.
