Steelers WR Smith-Schuster suffers concussion vs. Browns

But as the effects of it - and to a much lesser degree, the 21-7 win over the AFC North rival Steelers - were still fresh, the Browns were left only to face the cameras and microphones and attempt to answer questions about what exactly happened.

Myles Garrett took responsibility for his actions Thursday after he hit Mason Rudolph over the head with the quarterback's own helmet during a massive brawl between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers.

After the game, multiple National Football League players called for Garrett to be suspended for the remainder of the season.

With 8 seconds left to play Garrett hit Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph. That's kind of the history of what's been going on here - hurting yourself - and that's just endangering the other team. "No disrepecting anyone, but at the same time, I am going to protect my teammate".

Browns safety Damarious Randall had already been ejected in the third quarter for a helmet-to-helmet hit on wide receiver Diontae Johnson.

"I didn't see why it started, but it's inexcusable", he said. We can't continue to hurt this team. Rudolph hit on just 23 of 44 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown and four interceptions.

The Steelers are a flawless 4-0 against the spread in their last four games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

Nike calls off pilot program with Amazon
Nike's participation had signalled that Amazon was taking the concerns of major brands seriously. The announcement was a setback for Amazon, which has been trying to lure big brands to its site.

Browns running back Nick Chubb had 92 yards and went over 1,000 this season.

Nobody will remember the Browns win. The teams will meet again in a little of two weeks in what should prove to be a fiercely contested encounter once again.

The Browns are one of 11 teams committed to attending former quarterback Colin Kaepernick's workout in Atlanta this weekend.

Pittsburgh's Maurkice Pouncey, who was seen punching Garrett and kicking him after he had been tackled to the ground, said Garrett "could have killed" Rudolph. The brawling triggered shock and outrage and disbelief in the closing seconds of a game that that his defense had dominated.

Steelers: Along with the others, Pittsburgh lost LB Olasunkanmi Adeniyi (concussion) and CB Artie Burns (knee).

DeCastro said, according to ESPN, "The (NFL) has to make a statement", while Steelers defensive end Cam Heyward said of Rudolph, "The dude was defenseless". Watt has at least one-half sack in seven straight games, the longest active streak in the NFL.

The Browns will visit the Steelers on November 14.
