Fans rejoice as Sean Spicer is eliminated on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

But it didn't help and Spicer was voted off the show.

Spicer capitalized on his former role as White House press secretary by doing the tango and the foxtrot for millions of ABC viewers.

It seems like just yesterday this season of Dancing With the Stars started, and yet it also feels like it started three years ago. And those feet earned him consistently low dancing scores from the judges throughout the competition. After getting ousted, he tweeted his gratitude to the fans that kept him on the show - including the commander-in-chief.

But Spicer probably had Trump - or at least Trump supporters - to thank for hanging on as long as he did.

Disney Plus Changes The Star Wars 'Who Shot First?' Scene Again
Lucas tried to defend his choice several times over the years, and with the 2004 DVD release of the trilogy, he changed it again . In any case, it is not like you may put up Star Wars: A New Hope on-line with out enhancing a really particular scene.

The former press secretary tweeted in response to Trump's new, less effusive tweet: "Thank you @POTUS @realDonaldTrump I can't begin to express how much your continued support has meant, especially during my time on @DancingABC". That tweet came at 8:33 p.m., according to Business Insider, roughly 90 minutes before his other tweet. We are all proud of you!'

The president called Spicer a "great and very loyal guy who is working very hard" and used his #MAGA and #KAG hashtags.

The president's two dozen other tweets and retweets on Monday were mostly about the House's impeachment inquiry that has thrown the future of his term into doubt.
