NFL moves Packers-49ers into prime time on Nov

NFL has flexed the Week 12 Packers-49ers game to Sunday Night Football on NBC.
On Dec. 22, Detroit now is scheduled to visit Denver with Oakland's game at the Chargers both set for 4:05 p.m. ET kickoffs.

Why the change? It is because the two teams that are squaring off that evening are titans in the league right now.

The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers will meet during Week 12 and it will now take place under the bright lights. Equally as important, they're half a game ahead of the 7-2 Saints, half a game behind the 8-1 49ers and tied with the 8-2 Seattle Seahawks.

Green Bay at San Francisco moves from 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX to 5:20 p.m. PT on NBC. The Packers are now second in the conference and first in the NFC North, with a half-game lead over the New Orleans Saints for a first-round bye.

Beijing condemns violence in Hong Kong, and compares protesters to ISIS
At the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, police entered the school campus and chased protesters, but left without making arrests. The man remained in critical condition Wednesday, and the protester was in serious condition, the Hospital Authority said.

The NFL also finally set the date and time for the 49ers' Week 16 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Add two more prime time games to the 49ers' schedule.

This is quite a departure for the 49ers, who had their Sunday Night Football game against the Rams previous year flexed out in favor of a more competitive, meaningful matchup. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network.

Below is the full slate of games that will be played on December 21.
