Early 2000s Kids, Rejoice: The Motorola RAZR Is Back

Well, those days are coming back with the new foldable Razr. There wasn't truly an announcement, actually.

There wasn't a formal announcement. All this is possible because the Razr is one of the first phones to take advantage of a new generation of bendable-screen technology. The firm's new design trades in its circular appearance for one that's squared off at the top - personally, we think this makes the device look more compact overall. We kind of had to figure it out on our own. The zero-gap hinge allows razr to close with both sides perfectly flush, a cohesive design that also protects the main display,"says the company on its website". That is a tall and thin 22:9 aspect ratio. Below the Quick View display is its rear-mounted 16-megapixel f/1.7 aperture camera with features like dual-LED flash, laser autofocus, Dual Pixel autofocus, Night Vision mode and EIS. However, if you are interested, you can register your interest in this phone using this link right here. A quick double twist, like you're opening a door, and the camera launches.

Once preorders open in December, there's only one wireless carrier in the United States where you can buy and use the phone - Verizon Wireless. A lot of people were holding the clamshell phone in their hands all over the world. The phone has a large chin below the display which is home to a fingerprint sensor, cellular antennas, USB-C port, and a couple of loudspeakers.

Samsung, Huawei and others have phones that fold like a book and offer a double-sized display when unfolded. There's a 2.7-inch outer display as well to display notifications. The company is adapting its historical flip-phone design for a smartphone with a foldable screen.

Trump also says he wants to seal a two-way trade agreement with Turkey to increase trade with Turkey to as much as $1 billion. White House National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien on Sunday threatened sanctions if Turkey does not remove the S-400.

When you unfold the phone, it opens up into a 6.2-inch display "FlexView" OLED display. The moment I picked up the new Razr, I felt as if I was using a normal smartphone. There's no space in between the two halves of the phone when it's folded up.

In the era of screen addiction, I enjoy the idea of closing up a smartphone.

The body of the device is made of stainless steel and not the aluminium present on most other smartphones on the market.

The hinge felt sturdy, and wasn't too easy or hard to manipulate. Motorola's Moto Razr runs on mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GBof RAM and 128GBstorage. Its camera and battery specs are underwhelming, though Motorola promises "all-day battery life" without quoting an exact number of hours. The battery supports 15W fast charging support, however given the relatively smaller battery size, it will be interesting to see whether it can last through a day on a single charge.
