Windows 10 November 2019 Update (19H2) Released To Boost Performance

The latest Windows 10 update also lets users manage notifications in the taskbar. While businesses and other volume-license purchasers will have the option to pay for further fixes after that point, all other Windows 7 users who want to stick with Windows will need to consider migrating to Windows 10 soon.

But many more features were deprecated, meaning that they will likely be removed in a future Windows 10 version.

Windows 10 November 2019 Update has now been released to the general computing public. Windows 10 version 1809 is still supported for another six months but administrators may upgrade devices running this version of Windows 10 as well.

Fast Ring insiders are now on a later preview build, 19018, which, frankly, is how the Windows Insider programme is supposed to work rather than the mishmash of versions, builds and rings the army of unpaid testers have been subjected to over the past year.

Systems upgrading to Windows 10 version 1909 will report that "build 18363" is installed. Well, it's the graphical interface that makes Windows 10 look like, well... The update brings no new features.

For instance, this OS contains Windows Sandbox for Pro or Enterprise edition users. Use the registry settings as described in the Windows Client and Windows Server articles. The sandbox essentially is a "lightweight virtual machine" that can be used to run untrusted executable files, and nothing will persist when the sandbox app gets closed.

Disney Streaming Debuts with Hit Brands
Te new movie does not include "The Siamese Cat Song", which is sung by a pair of Siamese cats in the 1955 animated version. It used to be that Disney movies would pop up on Netflix once they were out of theatres, but that deal is about to expire.

The updating should be quick and similarly to the installation of cumulative updates for the operating system.

Windows 10 version 1909 has a new CPU rotation capability. Microsoft also initiated "additional debugging capabilities for newer Intel processors" in this OS release.

According to Microsoft, this will enable users to integrate their OneDrive content with the results they would usually receive from a traditional File Explorer search. In addition, Microsoft now permits voice activation of "third-party" (non-Cortana) digital assistants from the Lock Screen with Windows 10 version 1909.

Security updates to Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Edge, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Cryptography, Windows Virtualization, Windows Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine. The encryption key gets rotated "whenever a BitLocker-protected drive is unlocked using Microsoft Intune/MDM tools or a recovery password", Microsoft explained.

There's a new Cloud Clipboard feature in Windows 10 version 1909.

Microsoft has listed only one known issue for these two builds, which may prevent you from creating a local user when using Input Method Editor (IME) when setting up a new Windows device during the Out of Box Experience (OOBE).
