Temperatures will be in the single digits, and even below zero in some spots by Monday morning.

A powerful Arctic cold front will move across all of NW Arkansas and the River Valley during the day Monday with temperatures free-falling during the daytime hours. No accumulating snow is expected for the Garden State, but northeastern Pennsylvania could see several inches. We will begin our day with scattered showers across the region but as temperatures drop, showers will slowly turn into a wintry mix by the afternoon. Winds will be breezy with gusts topping out around 20 miles per hour. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid 30s for much of the day. Use your head and some extra time, along with some patience on this morning's drive. Slippery travel will develop, especially afternoon-evening & through tomorrow night (& early Tuesday morning).
