Australia routed Pakistan by 10 wickets with 49 balls to spare to win the third Twenty20 worldwide in Perth on Friday and clinch the series 2-0.

Chasing just 107 to win at Optus Stadium on Friday night, Aaron Finch (52 not out) and David Warner (48 not out) steered the hosts to a 2-0 series victory with 49 balls to spare. "We also ask that Nic's privacy be respected at this time", Ben Oliver, Cricket Australia's (CA) EGM of National Teams said in an official statement. In October this year, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell also made a decision to take a break from cricket to look after his mental health. As a result, he was replaced by D'Arcy Short in the Australia squad for the series against Sri Lanka."Mental health is a challenge faced by Australian communities and elite sporting organizations and cricket is no different", Kountouris said. Australia were also ahead in the first match of the series before it was called off due to rain.

Abbott was selected to represent Australia for the first time since 2014 after a stellar couple of seasons in the BBL - he was the second-highest wicket taker during BBL08.

"But it's really good we're playing good cricket". Pakistan couldn't recover after losing three wickets for 22 runs and wickets at regular interval meant that Pakistan ended with a score of 106 runs. The explosive Warner hit Mohammad Amir for six in the first over and there was no looking back in a display of power-hitting from the two men. His decision comes barely a week after Maxwell took himself out of Australia's Twenty-20 global (T20I) team in the middle of the series against Pakistan.

Ederson out of Liverpool vs Manchester City with injury
Ederson was taken off at half-time of Manchester City's chaotic 1-1 draw against Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday. Klopp remains unbeaten, only dropping points in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United last month.

In an interview past year, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell highlighted his mental health problems.

The Australian quick then smashed the stumps of Mohammad Rizwan next ball with a searing inswinger, leaving Pakistan in trouble at 15 for two. Opener ul-Haq, in for out-of-form Fakhar Zaman, didn't fare much better.

Abbott claimed career-best figures in his global return, removing the unsafe Imam-ul-Haq and middle-order batsman Imad Wasim. Finch hit the winning runs with a four off the last ball of the 12th over.
