Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Patch Adds New Maps, Nerfs Shotgun

Today's big Modern Warfare update brings two new maps, and the free content feels like a small step forward for the heavily criticised multiplayer aspect of the new Call of Duty.

Infinity Ward will be releasing a mix of free content, along with fun community events and celebrations regularly, and this free content is just the beginning. Activision confirmed on their Quarterly Earning report that Modern Warfare's battle pass will officially launch sometime in December 2019.

In Headquarters, players were able to place a Tac Insert and respawn when their team owned the point. One such scene has you play as a child with dialogue choices, while another takes the weapons completely from your hands and tasks you with a stealth mission in an embassy building. You might think you have good cover as you secure an objective point, but then you die by a skyscraper snipe you never saw coming. The various other multiplayer modes are much of the same, but still acting as very welcome palate cleansers should you tire of one mode or another.

A new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch will address several issues that have been dogging the player base, mainly the broken 725 Shotgun, as well as the Claymore. "Shoot-House" is designed for 6v6, close-quarters gunfights, and caters to players who've been asking for more of a three-lane map design.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare features a new engine delivering an immersive and photo-realistic experience across the entire game.

Taseer stripped of OCI card
This "very basic" requirement, the home ministry tweeted, was disclosure of the fact that Taseer's father is Pakistani. Aatish Taseer is expected to challenge the government's move against his OCI card.

Continued updates to player visibility in dark windows and dark areas.

Detonating an enemy claymore with bullets is now non-lethal when at full health.

The ridiculously overpowered 725 shotgun was finally nerfed to properly fit into the shotgun category, whereas it previously served more as an across-the-map sniper.

With a complete weapon overhaul and the most choices in Call of Duty history, players will be able to outfit their multiplayer operators for every combat encounter, with unprecedented customization and modifiability in the new Gunsmith system.
