In keeping with the national mood of all things good and happy, the #KFCProposal video of a man proposing to his soon-to-be-wife has gone viral on social media, with some famous names offering "gifts" for the wedding.

Bhut' Hector got down on one knee and asked Nonhlanhla to marry him as crowds of onlookers cheered.

The woman is seemingly shy, probably in disbelief but the man is seeing smilling ear-to-ear.

The fast-food giant shared the video on social media, asking South Africans for help finding the couple.

A proposal by a South African man to his fiancee in a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) branch in the country has set social media abuzz and gotten a lot of people talking.

The next was from Amstel in South Africa who offered some cider for refreshment at their marriage ceremony.

Now, local artists have also started showing support, promising to perform at this wedding. Well, it is special either way because it is a cerebration of love that has moved many people. Someone needs to drive them there.
