Kristen Bell returning to narrate ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot on HBO Max

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the OG narrator of the teen drama series underwent a months-long dealmaking process with HBO Max but has finally inked a deal to return for the reboot. The revival will feature a brand-new cast of teens. "The prestige series will address just how much social media - and the landscape of NY itself - has changed in the intervening years".

As per a press release issued by the producers of the show, Bell was always the first choice for the part and was thrilled to know that she is being offered this role again.

Kristen Bell will reprise her position as narrator within the upcoming Gossip Lady spin-off.

The actress served as the off-screen voice directing the drama on The CW series from 2007 to 2012, over the course of 121 episodes.

In July, the announcement of the reboot immediately became the hottest topic in town.

The reboot is to be a reimagining of Gossip Girl for a new generation, one set eight years after the original website went dark, with a whole host of new rich, white American kids ambling about the place up to no good.
