Solskjaer: Man United might not sign anyone in January

Solskjaer: Man United might not sign anyone in January

But they top their Europa League group and can move closer to the knockout stages with victory over Partizan Belgrade on Thursday (20:00 GMT).

Solskjaer's side suffered another disappointing result at the weekend when they lost 1-0 at Bournemouth and have won just three times in their opening eleven league games.

United are 10th in the Premier League, 10 points off the Champions League qualification places and 18 adrift of leaders Liverpool.

But Solskjaer and his coaching staff believe that United now need an attacking right-sided midfielder to complement Wan-Bissaka's defensive strengths and boost the team's creativity and goal threat from that side of the pitch.

"It was a quick turnaround, we couldn't get the goal that we felt we deserved early on".

"You're disappointed when you lose a game and of course we were on half a run", Solskjaer said on Wednesday.

"We feel we deserve a few more results than we have got but we're working and we're on the right track". This time around, we would like to see things go a little bit differently. "But it won't happen in one instance that you turn everything round".

Trump impeachment inquiry: Public hearing schedule
Setting the stage for the public hearings, lawmakers have been making public transcripts of the closed-door depositions. According to a Trump administration official, Williams was on the July 25 phone call between Trump and Zelensky.

"It is hard work, stick together and team spirit. We always look at the long term look at players", he said.

United have taken seven points from their three Europa League games so far in a competition that could provide them with their most realistic route back into the Champions League.

"It might be none, might be one, might be two in January, but it's always the summer window that's the big one".

"Mason's [Greenwood] given us a victor, Brandon [Williams] was fantastic in Belgrade, Jimmy [Garner] came through that game really well".

Reflecting on the club's European campaign to date, Solskjaer added: "We've seen some young players getting a chance and doing well".

With so many players on the treatment table, Solskjaer is going to have to rely on youth to fill the squad and the likes of Brandon Williams, Laird, Tahith Chong, James Garner and Mason Greenwood could be involved against Partizan after training with the first team today.
