Apple may soon starting selling iPhones on a subscription model

The latest element in Apple's multi-media subscription strategy is here: video-streaming service Apple TV+ went live on Friday in more than 100 countries and regions.

The first three episodes of the new drama series revolving around the chaos behind-the-scenes of an American breakfast show, The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon is available, as well as an episode of See, a new science fiction drama series starring Jason Momoa.

The service only has limited content as the moment as it only features shows that Apple have created themselves.

Apple is reportedly offering redeem codes to customers that are eligible for the company's Apple TV+ 1-year subscription offer, but that are having issues activating the free offer.

But even with its online video streaming service, Apple has again succeeded in gripping by their "exclusivity" disorder of keeping their content exclusive to their manufactured hardware.

Apple TV+ is launching ahead of a Disney+ online streaming service set to debut November 12 in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands, before rolling out worldwide.

The £4.99 pricepoint is at the lower end of recent launches, it's also free for those purchasing a new Apple device or the Apple Music Student Plan.

On your iPhone, sign out of the TV app, close it, then launch the app and log-in again. Additionally, only Apple devices get access to Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision streams. Apple spent $3.8 million on TV+ digital advertisements compared to $2.4 million on digital iPhone ads. Apple is also streaming its shows on its website for people using Safari, Firefox or Chrome browsers.
