Sun looks like a giant flaming jack-o'-lantern in NASA picture

So, back in 2014, NASA gets a really cool shot of the moon looking pretty much like a giant jack-o-lantern, posts it online, and now they do it every year on the week of Halloween, much to the delight of their Facebook followers.

NASA is getting in the celebration of Halloween. According to the agency, the rare photo was captured by its Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO).

The Twitter post of NASA received over 2,000 likes and people have expressed their amazement at the usual site of Sun. This image uses ultraviolet light to reveal active regions on the star's surface, and in this case it looks a whole lot like a big, grinning face. Since some of the regions emit more energy than the others, they appear brighter.

The jack-o-lantern Sun isn't the only eerie image in space captured by NASA.

It is said that the Mi CC9 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution with an in-display fingerprint sensor. We also know that the CC9 Pro will get a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor and 5x optical zoom .

The picture was taken by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.

"This image blends together two sets of extreme ultraviolet wavelengths at 171 and 193 Ångströms, typically colourised in gold and yellow, to create a particularly Halloween-like appearance".

USA central space agency NASA turned to Facebook on Sunday to post a scary- looking picture of the Sun that vividly resembled the symbol of the Halloween season, a jack-o'-lantern.

The image from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope captures two galaxies of equal size in a collision that appears to resemble a ghostly face.
