Times Change. Duty Endures. Brand New Trailer For 'The Crown' Season 3

Netflix has released its official trailer for the much awaited third season of The Crown. The clip was officially released on Monday.

The third season of The Crown sees a new guard sweep into Downing Street, as Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family struggle to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Britain. Tobias Menzies will now as Prince Phillip.

And while there's little context to the Queen's final statement at the end of the trailer, it appears to fit her son well as she says: "We have all made sacrifices and suppressed who we are". "On days like today", Colman's Queen Elizabeth states, "ask yourself: In the time I've been on the throne, what have I actually achieved?"

Then there's Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor), who's finding himself torn between falling in love with Camilla Parker-Bowles (Emerald Fennell) and his commitments as a member of the monarchy.

Another key scene looks to be the death and funeral of the Queen's second cousin Earl Mountbatten of Burma, played by Game of Thrones star Charles Dance, who was killed by a bomb planted by Irish republican terrorists in 1979.

The Crown season three arrives on Netflix November 17. Her sister replies off camera: "You can not flinch, it's only fallen apart if we say it has".

"You can not flinch", responds Margaret.

We watch as Margaret tries to get involved with the Queen's affairs as well as Margaret's fights with her then husband Anthony Armstrong-Jones turning physical.

With Oscar-winner Olivia Colman taking on the role of the middle-aged monarch in the latest instalment, we're expecting big things when it kicks off on November 17th. But while we're not quite there yet, The Crown season 3 is already letting us in on these tensions. When he replies, "They mean well", he's instructed, "No, they produce no longer".

"The Crown" Season 3 jumps forward in time and introduces a new cast.
