An iconic villian strikes back in new Star Wars trailer

The eagerly awaited trailer premiered on US TV during an National Football League match on Monday night, giving fans a final glimpse of the film before its December release. The emotion-packed trailer dropped early Tuesday morning and it offers an emotional rollercoaster ride for all fans.

The company also notes this is a new record for Atom Tickets and also that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the most anticipated fall release. What did Star Wars fans think of this final glimpse into The Rise of Skywalker?

We learned in the initial teaser trailer that we'll see the return of Emperor Palpatine, but he didn't show up in the second look. The goal was "to create something that gives a sense of surprise and thrill and heartbreak, and shock and awe, but also feeling like an inevitability", the director was quoted saying at an event.
