Missing Model Got Strangled, Poisoned and Buried in a Desert

Authorities say 24-year-old model Esmeralda Gonzalez was missing for five months before her body was found October 8 encased in a homemade concrete and wooden structure. It's alleged she was killed by Christopher Prestipino, 45, who lured her into his home before her disappearance.

At the end of July the police received a tip that Prestipino was involved in the disappearance Las Vegas Review Journal reported. "Esmeralda's gait was unsteady and she appeared disoriented".

In the Nevada desert, a woman's body was discovered encased in a concrete and wooden structure, police arrested a 45-year-old man for her murder.

Gonzales, who worked in the entertainment industry for adults and had more than 300,000 Instagram followers, disappeared on May 31.

When he checked her home, he found the lights on, the front door unlocked, and searched the house.

"Esmeralda was at Christopher's house, and he eventually got her rich in methamphetamine", the witness told police, according to Weckerly.

Meanwhile, later this evening, the couple will exchange their "I dos" at the opulent Belcourt Estate, which reportedly has a haunted past.

Prestipino tied her to a bedpost, poisoned her and ultimately strangled her, according to the documents, finally using a U-Haul truck to move her concrete-encased body. "Christopher was not aware of Esmeralda's mental problems, and she began to behave freakish and speak in the language of the devil".

Although Mort denied any knowledge of Gonzalez, court documents state that the couple's jail calls were recorded in which they discussed their plans to escape, and Prestipino advising his partner not to discuss the matter with anyone and to delete all data on her cell-phone.

Prestipino was arrested last Friday, three days after Gonzalez's body was located. When she woke later, she punched at Mr Prestipino, who allegedly later injected her with pool cleaner. Bail was refused, and he is being held at Clark County Detention Centre.

Christopher Prestipino is facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and first degree kidnapping, according to court records.

The girlfriend of the accused, Lisa Mort, was released but placed under house arrest, and stands accused of assisting, and harboring or hiding a felony offender.

The Clark County coroner's office is working to identify family members of the woman's body before confirming the identity of the victim. Mort was already arrested her for aiding and abetting, Prestipino was only a week ago, caught as he was coming back from a trip to Belize.
