'I am not a Russian spy': Jill Stein slams Clinton's accusations

'I am not a Russian spy': Jill Stein slams Clinton's accusations

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard on Friday slammed Hillary Clinton as "queen of warmongers" after the former US Secretary of State alleged that the Democratic election hopeful was being "groomed" by the Russians as the third-party candidate for the 2020 presidential elections.

The unprecedented war of words between the two United States politicians erupted Friday when Hillary Clinton during an interview appeared to be floating a conspiracy theory that the Russians are "grooming" Tulsi Gabbard to be the third-party candidate in the presidential elections.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday the Russians are now "grooming" a Democrat running in the presidential primary to run as a third-party candidate and champion their interests.

"She's the favorite of the Russians. I will guarantee you they will have a vigorous third-party challenge in the key states that they most needed", Clinton declared. "The New York Times put out an article saying that I'm a Russian asset and an Assad apologist and all these different smears", Gabbard said, referring to such reports as "completely despicable". To them, Tulsi is not only working for former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke (who she has publicly denounced as "pure evil") and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the #IamTulsi hashtag itself was the work of shady "Russian bots".

The wild charge prompted a response from Gabbard, accusing Clinton of running an operation to destroy the congresswoman's campaign for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. She went on to say that Trump's inauguration speech was "like a declaration of war on half of America".

Clinton made her remarks after moments in Gabbard's campaign were reportedly amplified by trolls and bots on Twitter with ties to Russian Federation.

"It's now clear that this primary is between you and me", she sneered. Yeah, she's a Russian asset-I mean, totally.

In 2016, Green Party liberal leader Jill Stein won more votes than Trump's margin of victory in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, three states that would have secured the presidency for Clinton had she won them. "Somehow Hillary Clinton didn't do her Google research or she would know that I am not running", Stein said.

Clinton also accused Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate in both the 2012 and 2016 elections, of being a "Russian asset".

In a tweet Friday, Stein accused Clinton of "peddling conspiracy theories to justify her failure instead of reflecting on real reasons Dems lost in 2016".

Responding to Gabbard's attacks, Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said, "Divisive language filled with vitriol and conspiracy theories?"

Although the report identified violations, it said investigators had found "no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information". In an interview with the site, Amash expressed his hope that the two-party system would die off.

Last week, President Donald Trump had teased Hillary Clinton on joining the race.

In an earlier interview on CNN, commentator Van Jones warned that Clinton was "playing a very risky game" with the not-so-veiled attack on Gabbard.
