Jennifer Aniston is confused about the point of Instagram

Jennifer Aniston has been on Instagram all of one day and she already has a whopping 10 million-plus followers. This led to a huge number of followers suddenly bombarding her profile, which actually caused it to crash temporarily. In the sneak peek from episode 1, Aniston stares down at her phone beside two other characters from the show, one of whom is portrayed by actor Ian Gomez, before quickly realizing that her device is no longer working.

Aniston is no stranger to record-breaking feats - she shares the record title of highest paid TV actress per episode with fellow Friends cast members Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox Arquette, featuring in Guinness World Records 2016, as well as previous editions.

"#TBT In style, then and now." she captioned the pic.

Seeing Jennifer on Instagram, fans of the sitcom star have been celebrating her stepping into social media. Aniston was adamant that she was protecting her private life from prying eyes and constant exposure. There's enough written about me out there and enough that's not true. "This is the one place I have that's really protected and is mine and is what my life is without a camera rolling or paparazzi or media exposure", the actress confessed. The show is based on the behind-the-scenes happenings of a morning show.

In a statement to People at the time, a spokesperson for Instagram said, "We are aware that some people are having issues following Jen's page - the volume of interest is incredible!" What's so amusing? What's so interesting? That said, we're sure her millions of fans are thrilled to follow along on the journey she curates for them on Instagram.
