Realme X2 Pro arrives with Snapdragon 855+ & 90Hz Display

The Realme X2 Pro is part of the company's X series that includes Realme X and Realme XT (Review).

The Realme X2 is a toned-down version of its pro sibling with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display.

In addition to packing the newfangled Snapdragon 855 Plus 2.96GHz Octa-core processor under the hood, the phone comes with the highly-competent Adreno 640 graphics processing unit. As stated earlier, Realme X2 Pro comes in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options.

The Realme X2 Pro is priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 27,200) for the base 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. In terms of memory, the device has been launched in three variants - 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

Created by renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, the Realme X2 Pro Master Edition gets a frosted glass, logo and master signature design on the back. The device comes in two colour variants - Luna (White) and Poseidon (Blue).

Realme X2 Pro touts a 64MP quad-camera setup that incorporates a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 essential sensor, a 13-megapixel zooming lens with 20x half breed zoom support, 8MP too wide-edge lens and macro lens. The Redmi K20 Pro has a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens.

Cardinals starter Dakota Hudson (0-1) recorded just one out, giving up seven runs (four earned) on five hits with one walk. They've won four National League East titles, but up until now, never made it past the first round of the postseason.

The Realme X2 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 50W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The phone also features stereo speakers that have been tuned by Dolby Atmos effects for Hi-res audio experience. Here, the company has used LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. The display includes HDR10+ support, DC Dimming 2.0, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Both devices boast a dual nano-SIM card slot with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots. Even while you're using the phone for gaming, the phone's battery can be charged 80% in 30 minutes with OPPO's proprietary charging technology.

The display onboard touts a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, with the waterdrop notch packs a 16MP selfie camera.

As a result, our reviews of the latter two were a mixed bag - the realme 5 Pro fared quite well, while the realme 5 was underwhelming. The phone runs Color OS 6.1 which is based on Android 9 and will be upgraded to Android 10 later this month. The rear camera can shoot 4K 60fps video & up to 960fps slow-motion videos.

The Realme X2 Pro will go on sale in China later this week from October 18.

Amongst other things, the handset has the support for NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Global Positioning System.
