Megan James' Forecast | Rain moves out, cold moves in

The rain will eventually taper off later Wednesday morning, leading to mostly cloudy skies for much of the day. We still could see a few sprinkles or a stray shower with highs struggling to make it to 50.

"Showers will become more frequent and heavy over the next day or two". However, as skies turn overcast area wide and the wind picks up, a widespread/steady rain is expected to develop through the afternoon.

It's been a soggy start to the day with a front pushing through early Wednesday and dragging a round of showers across the area along with it. Thursday and Friday will feature cooler, but still very nice weather before we see a comfortably warm and sunny weekend. Temperatures will be sinking down through the 60s. Temperatures rise to a high of 9°C with a UV index of 1 or low. Coastal areas will get down into the upper 50s and low 60s. There is just a chance of a brief round of showers Saturday.
