Jaguars injury report: Minshew, Ramsey limited in practice

When the Jaguars posted their list of inactives for Sunday's Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints, Ramsey was on it.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan told TheStreet.com that he expects star CB Jalen Ramsey to play this week against the Saints following a "heart-to-heart" talk this week.

Ramsey has made it clear that he wishes to be traded, while Khan has said he has no intention of trading the All-Pro corner.

The injury comes after Ramsey was involved in a heated exchange with Jaguars coach Doug Marrone on the sideline during the team's loss to the Texans in Week 2.

"Well, I think he's going to be playing this week", Khan says. He saw a specialist in Houston about the injury last week.

Ramsey said on the most recent Uninterrupted podcast "17 Weeks" - which was released Thursday - that he is still experiencing symptoms.

"You know, rehab it and recover it as best as you can". Ramsey requested a trade in September and hasn't backed down from that request.

Ramsey, who was selected by Jacksonville with the No. 5 pick in the 2016 draft, has nine interceptions and 45 pass breakups in his career.

Ramsey was limited in practice for a third consecutive day Friday. A lot of that success came along side rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II, so hopefully he can get right back to producing with the rookie right away if he can return.
