Apple announce iPhone XR in multiple colours

Apple has revealed its new mid-range smartphone, the iPhone Xr, a smartphone coming in six colours that sits below its latest flagship smartphones. Joining the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, the new iPhone XR sports a 6.1-inch edge-to-edge LCD notched display, as well as a single rear camera, glass back, IP67 rating, and more.

Apple says that it's allowing access to the Neural Engine through its CoreML API, and it brought forth the developers of HomeCourt, a real-time basketball tutoring app that benefited from the enhancements in the A12's AI accelerator. The company will make iPhone Xs devices in gold, space gray, and silver finishes.

The iPhone XS starts at Rs 99,900 for the base 64GB variant, with 256GB and 512GB costing Rs 1,14,000 and Rs 1,24,900.

Apple's controversially expensive iPhone X now has the dubious title of having the shortest shelf-life of any phone Apple's ever made.

‘Lady and the Tramp’ Recreate Iconic Spaghetti Scene in New Trailer
Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux voice the titular characters in the live-action film, which arrives in less than a month. Spaghetti and meatballs has never been the same since Lady and the Tramp rebranded the dish as a romantic entrée.

The company also claims that apps will launch 30 percent faster on the XS and XS Max than previous phones.

Better yet, Apple took a page out of Google's book and learned how to do portrait mode with one camera.

Apple's strategy of selling pricier phones amid waning demand for smartphones has propelled the Cupertino-based company to become the first publicly traded USA company to hit a market value of more than $1 trillion (€860 billion).

One of the ways it did this was with the announcement of AirPower, its multifaceted wireless charging pad that had room for an iPhone, an Apple Watch and an Apple Airpod wireless charging case - something that also has never seen the light of day. The XS will start from $999 in the USA and €1,149 ($1,226) in Germany. This model will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB options starting at $749 United States dollars. The handset can be ordered starting on the 19th October and ship on the October 26.
