Calif. man drives to police station with body, admits to 4 murders

According to CNN, a man walked into a California police department Monday with a body in his auto confessing to four murders.

The body of one of the possible victims was found in the suspect's vehicle after he told officers with the Mount Shasta Police he had killed people at his home.

Three additional bodies were found at the man's apartment in Roseville, Calif., which is more than 200 miles away from the Mount Shasta police station.

The fourth body was found in the man's auto outside the Mt. Shasta station.

Roseville officials will be reporting additional details Tuesday morning as investigators process evidence at both crime scenes in Roseville and Mount Shasta.

The suspect also told Mt. Shasta police that he had allegedly murdered people at his apartment in Roseville.

"At this time, this is an ongoing investigation in coordination with the Roseville Police Department", Mt. Shasta Police said.

He said the main who had turned himself in to police is the sole suspect and "we do not believe there is any ongoing threat to our community".

Police have not identified any of the victims or the suspect, but say the man likely knew his victims.
