Rebekah Vardy threatens Coleen Rooney: 'I'll see you in court'

A source close to Vardy, 37, told The Sun: 'She is prepared to see Coleen in court if necessary'.

For those who haven't been keeping up with the drama, a quick recap: Earlier this week, Rooney tweeted a screenshot accusing Vardy of regularly selling information from Rooney's personal Instagram with the British tabloid the Sun over the course of several years.

"And you know what, they did!"

Rebekah, who is married to England footballer Jamie Vardy and appeared on I'm A Celebrity... She said to me: "I'm not pointing the finger" and I said: "You have just annihilated me in public and hung me out to dry".

It comes as Rebekah has revealed she is working with IT experts to determine who else may have accessed her private account in an effort to prove she was not behind the leak. Or is she saying it is Rebekah's account?

On Wednesday, Coleen Rooney claimed that she had finally found out who was leaking stories to the media for five months, and after her investigation through Instagram, she called out the Leicester City forward's wife. "You can tell it that you are right and it is wrong, but it's still going to shit in your hair", she added.

But, now, Rebekah has now given her side of the story to The Daily Mail (in an interview which she was not paid for, instead making a donation to Mind).

In the days since Rooney's accusations Vardy, who is heavily pregnant, has been the victim of merciless online trolling, receiving death threats against herself, her children and her unborn baby.

"But that doesn't make it OK to just dump this on me and my family".

The result? A social media storm of memes, parodies, gifs, you name it. Twitter is ablaze over the so-called "wag wars", branding Coleen "WAG-atha Christie" for her fairly impressive detective skills.

"I wasn't going to say anything but it has gone so extreme".

'It is hard to explain how disgusting it has been'.

'I certainly never thought that something like this could happen'.

'Over the last few years, quite a few people have had access to my Instagram account'.

Whereas everyone looks to be wading into the debate to fragment what they mediate came about, all eyes are on Rebekah to try and whisper her innocence after she hired "forensic IT consultants" to try and clear her title.

'That someone would poach stories about another person via their Instagram'.
