Trump says accidents 'happen' in crash by diplomat's wife

Mr Trump reportedly told Mr Johnson that was aware of the case was "deeply saddened by what has happened".

President Donald Trump on Wednesday addressed the death of a British teen allegedly killed in a crash with a auto driven by the spouse of a USA diplomat, telling reporters that he had discussed the matter with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a phone call.

Johnson also urged the woman to return to the U.K.to face investigation.

"We're going to speak with her and see what we can come up with, so that there can be some healing", Trump said.

The vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the road when it crashed into Dunn's motorbike head-on, Northamptonshire police said in a statement.

The Aug 27 crash near RAF Croughton, a British military base, killed 19-year-old motorcyclist Harry Dunn.

However, Fury and Strowman could use the event to continue to plant the seeds for a showdown at Wrestlemania 36 in April. The boxer is now preparing for his big rematch with Wilder, which is expected to take place on February 22 in Las Vegas.

The woman, who is 42, is protected by diplomatic immunity because of her position.

The wife of a U.S. diplomat allegedly involved in a fatal vehicle accident will not return to the United Kingdom for further questioning, according to "secret" briefing notes accidentally shown by U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday at a press briefing.

"I do not think that it can be right to use the process of diplomatic immunity for this type of objective", Johnson mentioned Monday.

"The woman was driving on the wrong side of the road", Trump said. "That happens. I will not say it ever happened to me, but it did".

The pledge has come after Boris Johnson urged the US President to return Anna Sacoolas to Britain so she can "cooperate with police".

The US president replied to a tweet by "Twitter Moments" which claimed that the White House said Ankara will be moving forward with its incoming operation and will take responsibility for all Daesh fighters they capture.
