Bethesda delays Doom Eternal to March 2020

Doom Eternal has been delayed on all platforms. Sad news, but if delaying the title by a few months means a better game, the wait is worth it.

iD also says that the game's Invasion Mode, which allows players to enter other people's games as a playable demon, will not release with the game, but will arrive with a free update "shortly after launch".

There will be plenty of enemies and weapons at the Doom Slayer's disposal, including a Meat Hook accessory for the Super Shotgun-it slingshots the player towards and enemy and also functions as a grappling hook for navigating the environment.

As for the Switch, Doom Eternal will launch on that platform sometime after the rest, with id Software saying it will announced a launch date in the future. The game is instead shifting to a March 20 release date on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

NRL fans fume over ‘farcical’ grand final call
Raiders star Jack Wighton - the Clive Churchill Medal victor - retrieved the loose ball, saw Cummins call and didn't kick. It was the most decisive passage of play in the Grand Final - but Robinson appeared affronted to even be asked about it.

With twice as many demons being featured in the sequel as its predecessor, there will be new enemy types including The Marauder and Doom Hunter, while also featuring the returns of previous franchise enemies Pain Elemental, Arachnotron and Archville.

DOOM 64 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in addition to Nintendo Switch.

Doom Eternal previously had a release date set for November 22, meaning gamers who had pre-ordered the game, or just been building their anticipation, will likely be left disappointed.
