Instagram has officially announced Dark Mode for its app on both Android 10 and iOS 13.

If you're on Android 10, or iOS 13, update your apps. Office apps have had a dark mode on other platforms for a little while now, and so the addition of iOS support will be a welcome upgrade.

Alternatively, you can ask Siri to enable dark mode by uttering the magic phrase "Hey Siri, turn on/off the dark mode". There's no in-app toggle to switch to dark mode. "Improved accessibility and an updated UI help keep you productive anywhere", the company said. Instagram quietly rolled out the update today giving users a fully dark user interface to match the system-wide version. When your phone goes dark, so too will the popular social media app.
