Apple to release smaller, cheaper iPhone SE2 in early 2020

Apple CEO Tim Cook recently told a German publication that sales of the iPhone 11 family are off to "very strong start" and said that he couldn't be happier with the demand for the new phones. Apple has traditionally pursued the higher end of the market, with those seeking a cheaper iPhone forced to buy last year's model or one of the few cheaper handsets it has produced.

At least, that's what some early reports claim, and it seems unlikely that this will be changed for the public release.

Having said that, suppliers are maintaining a cautious stance as they are unsure whether Apple can sustain the surge in demand for an extended period or not. "I hope that this year's peak season lasts longer than last year". But Apple is yet to make a statement and if it passes on the tariff hike on to consumers by increasing price, the sales could plummet. The most significant hardware spec upgrade will be the adoption of the A13 processor and 3GB LPDDR4X. iPhone SE2 will likely increase iPhone's market share and benefit Apple's promotions for service and content. It won't be tasty and Apple might gag on it, but it is no different than what the company has already been doing with other products like the Apple Watch, AirPods and certain cases for the iPhone and iPad. We suspect it might not have iPhone 11-level cameras, and that it may have a Home button instead of Face ID.

Tesla shares fall despite record delivery numbers after missing Elon Musk's target
Shares of Tesla jumped more than 5% after electric vehicle news website Electrek reported the email last week. FactSet's deliveries' forecast was based this quarter on average estimates from 12 different analysts.

The original SE was designed with just a 4-inch screen with a price tag of just $399 - the iPhone 11 starts at $699.

After several leaks and rumours, there's one more to add to the list about the iPhone SE's successor.

If your iPhone 6s refuses to turn on, it's probably not because of anything you did.
