Airbnb has organized a rock concert... for great white sharks

Kiss are taking their live show to depths even they haven't explored before with an announcement on Thursday that they'll perform an underwater concert off the coast of Port Lincoln, South Australia, for eight "lucky" fans - and a group of great whites.

The Nov. 18 concert launching from Port Lincoln at 6:30AM off the southern coast of Australia will take fans on a cruise where they can soak in the sights from the surrounding wildlife, later getting a look at encroaching great whites through the boat's glass-bottom floor while KISS play on-board. The company reportedly explained that the event is designed in order for people to perform for animals, instead of having animals perform for people.

Great white sharks are apparently fans of rock. and Airbnb is giving them a Kiss concert.

"Since we're going to be in Australia, it gives a whole new meaning to doing a concert Down Under".

"I'm hoping they know Rock And Roll All Nite".

Kiss's Paul Stanley says the band will play at least four songs, adding he is not sure how much more of Kiss the sharks can take.

The organization has also worked to protect "critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef", as well as to end such practices as whaling and shark finning.

Stanley also told the AP that bassist Gene Simmons, who reportedly has recovered after recently having kidney stones removed, will be ready to perform before November 18.

All proceeds from the event are set to be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, with tickets set to go on sale Monday October 14, 2019 - and to top it off, they're only $52 each. "With Airbnb Animal Experiences, locals and travelers are just a few clicks away from being alongside them in the real world".
