Fallout Continues for Patriots Receiver Accused of Sex Assault

During a recent interview with Complex, Brown said he was "getting a huge Nike deal, which is opening up leverage for a lot of other guys and a lot of up-and-coming players to get in the marketing world and making money off the field". Brown's lawyer has denied the accusations and says a countersuit will be filed.

In his first game action against the Dolphins, Brown caught four passes on eight targets for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Helmet maker Xenith also ended its relationship with Brown soon after Taylor's allegations became public.

There wasn't much actionable information reporters could find out, since Brown only answered four questions - he's already learned from the best on how to handle the media in New England.

The receiver signed with the Patriots Sept. 9 and was hit with a civil lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and rape a day later.

Sports Illustrated also reported this week that a second unidentified woman has alleged that Brown exposed himself to her while she was working on a mural for him at his Pittsburgh home in 2017.

Hurricane Dorian Menaces Florida's East Coast
DeSantis continued advising residents to prepare essential supplies -- water, food and medicine -- for at least seven days. The storm was expected to approach the northwestern Bahamas on Saturday and then move over or near that area on Sunday.

The exact date when Brown's deal with Nike was officially terminated is unknown.

"I'm super grateful to be here, to play for Bill Belichick and Tom Brady", Brown said in front of his locker at Gillette Stadium during his one-minute media appearance. "But I'm excited and grateful to be here and be a part of these guys". I'm grateful to play football.

Brown was accused of rape in a civil lawsuit last week.

Brown was traded to the Raiders in March but was ultimately released near the start of the season after issues with a helmet that no longer was approved by the National Football League, and his complaints after he was fined by his new team for skipping practice in protest. "So every time I walk in here, I just want to make sure I'm preparing and giving these guys my best".

National Football League investigators met with Brown's personal trainer for several hours earlier this week, according to multiple reports.
