Windows 10 users plagued by more problems after latest Microsoft update

If you happen to need a Microsoft Office suite to go with your new Windows 10, GoodOffer24 has some great Bundles on offer! Microsoft seems to have already acknowledged the issue and explains that the compatibility bug is happening with Intel Centrino 6205/6235 and Broadcom 802.11ac Wi-Fi adapters on specific models of NEC devices.

As a prime solution, Microsoft pushed away any other release of updates. As reported on TechRadar, users on Reddit have been complaining about an error message caused by the update. "This may result in games sounding different than customers are used to and may have missing channels", Microsoft said. The second problem has reportedly rendered the Windows 10 Search bar useless.

Microsoft released the September 2019 security updates for all supported versions of Windows last week. You can also search in the Windows Control Panel for third-party audio device control panels and disable Multi-channel audio or Virtual Surround Sound, if these options are available.

The eagle-eyed reporters over at Windows Latest spotted references to Windows Core OS in Microsoft's own support documentation, which - crucially - is the fist time we've seen Microsoft refer to the software using that name. Wi-Fi connectivity is unavailable when these devices are upgraded to Windows 10 version 1903. To protect users against this fate, Microsoft has blocked affected NEC devices from installing Windows 10 version 1903.

The bad news bus has continued rolling for users of hardware both young and old as Wi-Fi woes plague Windows 10 and even Windows 8.1.

Humberto strengthens into Category 1 hurricane
Thankfully, the worst of Humberto passed by the Bahamas, as the country is still dealing with the aftermaths of Hurricane Dorian. On Monday, Humberto is expected to take a sharp turn to the northeast, moving it even farther from land.

Microsoft later launched the KB4515384 update to deal with these points and should have succeeded in doing that. "Reinstalling community drivers from Intel or Home windows Replace sources doesn't resolve the difficulty".

Microsoft advises affected Windows 10 1903 users to simply disable and then re-enable the WiFi adapters.

Chinese IME (maybe other IME as well) may become unresponsive or cause high CPU usage on systems running Windows 10 version 1903.

Plus, if you're using the Chinese IME editor, which means most of China, then you may find, again, that your CPU is going insane as a result.
