Call of Duty: Mobile release date, multiplayer modes revealed

Activision has revealed that it's flagship first-person shooter franchise Call of Duty is coming to mobile devices on October 1 for iOS and Android users. The game will be available through Google Play Store and Apple App Store except select regions such as Mainland China, Vietnam and Belgium. Development of the mobile version has been handled by Tencent's in-house studio, rather than traditional Call of Duty developers such as Treyarch or Infinity Ward.

Then, of course, we have battle royale, which was a given for Call of Duty: Mobile considering the popularity of the genre at the moment.

Like most free to play games, Call of Duty: Mobile will have plenty to unlock, like character models of John "Soap" MacTavish and Simon "Ghost" Riley from the Modern Warfare series, along with Alex Mason from Black Ops.

Trump reportedly implicated in intel whistleblower scandal
Unfortunately for the White House, this new scandal is just getting started, as is the search for the truth. But a conversation between two foreign leaders is not itself an intelligence activity.

The gameplay of Call of Duty Mobile combines elements from both the Black Ops and the Modern Warfare series. You can also expect classic maps such as Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and more. This will allow players to take their favorite game on the go or get new gamers familiar with a first person shooter format.

The new trailer doesn't show much more than the old one did, but it still looks very much like Call of Duty - just on mobile platforms.

Though the beta testing for Call of Duty: Mobile in India ended a long time back, we've been addicted to the game ever since. It will be free-to-play and accessible to both Android and iOS users. It sounds like this will be your standard battle royale mode, only on mobile devices, with Activision promising matches with up to 100 players; solo, duo, and quad-player modes; and a variety of different vehicles you can use to traverse the map.
