Multiple People Wounded in 'Massive Stabbing' at Industrial Park

Police identified the suspect as 41-year-old Antwann Demetris Brown, who had worked at Dyke for about three and a half months.

Brown clocked out at 8:20 a.m. but didn't immediately leave, Outlaw said.

Brown was asked to clock out as a result, the acting police chief said, without giving more details about the dispute.

Outlaw said the employees were "heroic" at a Wednesday afternoon press conference.

Police say there were no pending employment issues with Brown at Dyke Industries. His fellow employees armed themselves with what they could and held Brown at bay during the attack. Outlaw said. "All of our responding officers, they're also very cognizant of what day this is".

The officers who responded to the stabbing had been attending the city's 9/11 memorial service.

At least six people were stabbed Wednesday morning at a Tallahassee industrial complex in an incident that is under investigation, according to multiple news outlets.

"You can't help but wonder, on the first flush when you hear that, is this related to the anniversary?" The victims were hospitalized after being attacked with a folding knife, CNN reports, with one of them in serious condition, two in fair condition, and two listed in good condition.
