Apple has previously pledged a quality over quantity approach for Arcade, with a focus on original content and a stringently curated library.

These games won't be available on any other mobile platform or in any other subscription service.

Apple TV+ will be available to users in India starting 1 November and will be available to users at just Rs 99 per month. It all starts with a plan.

"Each Apple TV+ original offers its own unique story, fresh perspective and powerful message - all meant to entertain, connect and inspire cultural conversations", says Apple's head of worldwide video, Zack Van Amburg.

It's heartening to see Apple take an interest in promoting high-quality games with artistic value. Apple wants you to be able to play games online and offline where the speed of your internet connection is not a determinant so graphic heavy games would take up too much space.

However, only some games will support controllers, including Xbox Wireless Controllers with Bluetooth, PlayStation DualShock 4 and MFi game controllers, in addition to touch controls and Siri Remote. Apple Arcade marks Apple's foray into subscription gaming services, after making a name for itself in the mobile games space with the App Store.

Apple launched its new game subscription service, Apple Arcade, during the September Special Event.

The Apple Arcade subscription service was first announced in February, although Apple didn't share launch details at the time.

The slide also didn't include Aussie games published under another banner, like Annapurna, which is publishing The Artful Escape and Florence from Mountains onto the new Apple service. The catalog will exceed 100 games in the coming weeks as new titles are introduced, with more games to come every month.
