Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered release date confirmed

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition won't make 2019 after all - but it'll arrive early in 2020, at least.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will launch on January 23, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.

The original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles came out for the GameCube in Japan in 2003, and then released in the US and United Kingdom in 2004. The main appeal of this remaster is that you can play online with your friends and now with the confirmation of cross-play it'll be easier. The online function allows players to connect four different devices to carry the crystal chalice throughout the land. You follow their journey as they search for Myrrh a substance that can cleanse crystals that protect their world from a risky gas. Now it appears you won't need to dig up your old GBA console, as the remastered edition will have four-player cross-platform multiplayer built-in. It tasks players with travelling the world in search of "myrrh" which is used to fuel crystals protecting the world's settlements from the poisonous Miasma. It's adding new endgame dungeons, new character skins, and new equipment, as well as rerecorded voice work. These are the chronicles of courageous young adventurers who journey to protect their home.

Denver Broncos' offense disjointed at key times in season-opening loss
A pair of third-down sacks by Mayowa and Ferrell stalled two drives and DaeSean Hamilton dropped a potential TD in the end zone. Conley was down on the ground for several minutes with players on both teams kneeling on the ground out of concern.

There's also the usual extras that come with these re-releases, like a new post-game dungeon, new costumes, and voiceovers during battles, among other features.

The success of the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles spawned a franchise for Nintendo platforms, which saw releases for the Wii and Nintendo DS. There's new content too, with new dungeons and bosses added to the game, and new artifacts to find and equip. These are the "Crystal Chronicles".
