Andreescu set to make millions in endorsements after U.S. Open victory

Newly-crowned US Open champion Bianca Andreescu hailed her mom as a "straight G" after a viral video showed the teen star's mom appearing less than enthused at her daughter's heroics against Serena Williams.

French Open champion Barty exited the tournament in the last 16 but regained the number one spot after last year's champion Naomi Osaka was also knocked out at the same stage. "Champagne Papi, I'm waiting for you ... don't at me".

"I don't know what to say, I guess I gotta keep going if I wanna be a professional tennis player". However, the designer's stylists only met with her for the first time a few days ago.

Andreescu is the first woman to win the title in her U.S. Open debut and the first player born in the 2000s to win a tennis Grand Slam.

"It's been very much a fairytale, magical type of year for her and she's the ultimate competitor".

Bianca Andreescu scored a big win for Canadian tennis on Saturday and another big win for Montreal's fashion scene on Sunday.

"It definitely wasn't easy in the final against Serena Williams", the 19-year-old added.

"The bigger the occasion, the bigger she hits", Bianca Andreescu's coach said before the Canadian's US Open tennis final victory.

"I'm so close, so close, so close and yet so far away", Williams continued in her post-match press conference.

"If I didn't do that, I'm sure Serena would have won that second set so I'm really glad with how I handled everything".

The teen tennis star enjoyed the traditional winner's photoshoot with a backdrop of the NY skyline on Sunday, and can now reflect on an incredible run of form which will take her to the heady heights of world number five, having started the year outside the top 100.

"It requires you to be consistent, to build up your ranking and to kind of get higher and higher, lower and lower, but the challenge of playing the best in the world is always the greatest challenge. We wanted to go to Canada and start a new life and have a better future for any kids we might have".
