Prince Harry Says This 'Unique Circumstance' Warrants Private Jet Usage

Prince Harry at the Adam tower in Amsterdam. "Communities will be at the center of everything we do and we're not going to reinvent the wheel", Harry said.

This looked like a classic case of "do as I say, not as I do", and people from all over the world were quick to take Harry and Meghan to the task for it, regardless of how many celebrities rushed to speak out in their defense.

Britain's prince Harry made a flying visit to Amsterdam on Tuesday to launch a project aimed at boosting sustainable tourism. Other partners include Booking.com, Ctrip and Skyscanner.

Travalyst will work to encourage sustainable practices in the travel industry with the goal of improving conservation, environmental protection, and community economic development. "Sometimes it has to be a private jet, in order to ensure that my family is safe - it really is that simple".

Prince Harry "can't wait" to show his son Archie around South Africa.

Prince Harry is launching a new global sustainable travel initiative following controversy about his own private jet usage.

"The question is what we do to balance it out", Prince Harry added.

Manchester United's Matteo Darmian joins Parma on four-year deal
Manchester United also thanked the Italy worldwide for the services rendered to the club and wished him success at his new club. The club confirmed on Monday morning that Darmian had joined Parma on a four-year deal as the defender returns to his homeland.

When Harry launched the initiative called Travalyst, with a group of leading online travel firms, he defended his use of private planes saying he flew "99%" of the time by commercial flights.

A survey of travelers for Booking.com found 71% thought travel companies should offer more sustainable travel choices and 68% said it was important the money they spent went back into local communities. Partnering alongside key travel industry giants @Bookingcom, #Ctrip, @Skyscanner, @TripAdvisor and @Visa_US, our aim is to spark a movement to transform the future of travel, putting communities at the heart of the solution.

'Somehow we have to connect people to where that little bit of extra money is actually going and the moment you have that connection you feel you have a bigger goal in life, and you can actually see the difference you're making, and I think that's acceptable'.

Harry's partnership follows a two-year process that began in Harry's private office before migrating to the Royal Foundation that he once shared with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

But Prince Harry admitted at the launch that no-one was ideal and everybody was responsible for their own individual impact on the environment.

The "Travalyst" scheme is created to improve conservation, environmental protection and expand local community economic development to help the travel industry become a force for good, Buckingham Palace said.
