Scarlett Johansson Stands By Alleged Child Sex Abuser Woody Allen

Scarlett Johansson is once again under fire, this time for comments made regarding supporting director Woody Allen who has been accused of sexual assault allegations for decades.

Johansson has starred in three movies directed by Allen: "Match Point", "Scoop" and "Vicky Cristina Barcelona".

Although multiple actors who have worked with Allen - including Michael Caine and Timothée Chalamet - have since distanced themselves from the 83-year-old director, Johansson strongly defends him.

Scarlett Johansson is standing by alleged child sex abuser Woody Allen, saying she loves him.

'I wouldn't work with him as a result of I'm in solidarity with ladies who've come out with their tales, whether or not they're confirmed or not.

Johansson said she has had numerous conversations with Allen about his past. "I'm a very private person". "He maintains his innocence, and I believe him", she explained.

That should take precedence over your career or what you think of his movies, and if Johansson really believed that things need to be stirred up and that the #MeToo movement is understandable, then she should take a stand here. "It's hard because it's a time where people are very fired up, and understandably. It's an intense time".

The Marvel actress, 34, wasn't afraid to share her opinion over who she would likely vote her in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published Wednesday. Farrow says her accusations have been "unaltered for over 20 years and I have been systematically shut down, ignored or discredited". This is true. But Allen's behavior towards Dylan Farrow, Soon-Yi Previn, and others points towards a consistent misogyny in his works and a predatory attitude towards women in general. He has repeatedly denied the allegation.

"I'd work with him again if he wanted me to", Alda told The Hollywood Reporter in January. "For me, if there was one candidate that I felt we could all unite behind, certainly that would be the candidate that I would back".

The allegations resurfaced past year with the growth of the #MeToo movement.

"Of course, I did not molest Dylan", he continued.

Despite all of the headlines, Johansson claimed the two are still able to protect their privacy and enjoy a life in NY with her daughter mostly undisturbed.
