Overwatch Is Coming To Switch

We've got a Nintendo Direct airing in less than twenty four hours!

Bethesda took to today's Nintendo Direct stage to announce that one of their "favorite" DOOM games is coming to Nintendo Switch.

No 3DS title will be present, Nintendo Switch only.

The live event starts at 6:00PM ET and it will run for nearly an hour.

Blizzard previously collaborated with Nintendo on one of its other major titles: Diablo III was released on Nintendo Switch in November 2018, six years after the game's original 2012 release.

Nintendo Switch Lite Up for (Unofficial) Pre-Orders in India: Price, Release Date

What surprises do you expect will be revealed during tomorrow's Nintendo Direct? Blizzard is also offering 15 bonus skins with Overwatch Legendary Edition for Nintendo Switch: five legendary outfits, five epic looks and five origin skins.

The lengthy Nintendo Direct conversation will feature news about Pokemon Sword and Shield, Luigi's Mansion 3, and more. The listing clearly not only showed Overwatch for the Nintendo Switch platform, but also a release date of October 18, 2019.

That being said, Overwatch is sort of like Rocket League in that it's likely everyone who's ever looked at a video game probably owns it, so it's doubtful that Blizzard's too anxious about the competition here, even in the face of a CD Projekt Red masterpiece going mobile.

Let us know your thoughts on this upcoming Direct in the comments section below the article. The retail listing suggested a European release date of October 18, though Kotaku speculates that October 15 is a more likely North American release date.

The show starts at 3 PM Pacific/6 PM Eastern, so be sure to tune in around then to make sure you don't miss an announcement.
