Alleged iPhone 11 benchmark suggests faster CPU, 1GB extra RAM

In case you've been living under a rock, Apple has sent out invitations to its next iPhone event happening on September 10 in the United States (September 11 in the Philippines). According to reports, Apple users could charge their AirPods (via the box) with their iPhone 11 phones. The phone's signature feature is supposed to be the rear camera, which might incorporate up to four different sensors and support additional camera features, including an improved video recording mode. The device will still come with Face ID technology but there's no 3D Touch support. Going by the names given to the upcoming iPhones, it is clear that iPhone 11 Pro Max will be the priciest of them all.

The iPhone 11 Pro will have a smaller 5.8-inch display but an OLED type with a 2346 x 1125 resolution and a 458 PPI. With that in mind, smartphone buyers who are not sure whether to choose Android or iOS this fall should be happy to hear the most important new Android handset of the year will be unveiled on September 19th, just a few days after Apple's keynote. For comparison, the most recent iPhone XR result at the time of writing shows a single-core score of 4,831 and a multi-core result of 11,394. The phone has triple cameras for primary imaging consisting of a 12MP + 12MP + 12MP setup at the back. There's no 3D Touch technology on this model either. Much of what we know about Apple's upcoming iPhone 11 lineup was leaked by inside sources that are nearly never wrong about this sort of thing. It will also have reverse-wireless charging and Wi-Fi 6.

The successor to the iPhone XS Max will keep the 6.5-inch 2688 x 1242 OLED display of its predecessor. The top-end iPhone 11 and 11 Max are likely to have triple camera setups in the rear, with three identical 12MP lenses doing different functions. It's powered by the same Apple A13 7nm chip and is available in the same 6GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB storage option as the iPhone 11 Pro.
