Iran’s Rouhani rules out bilateral talks with U.S.

Iranian government spokesman, Ali Rabiei, pictured here at a press conference last month, has said that Iran will make a "strong move" away from the 2015 nuclear deal if Europe fails to offer Tehran new ways to bypass U.S. sanctions.

At the height of the crisis, Trump ordered strikes against Iran on June 21 before cancelling them at the last minute. "The issue of bilateral talks is not on the agenda in principle", he said.

It remains unclear what further steps Iran will take, though it could involve restarting advanced centrifuges prohibited by the deal or further bumping up its enrichment of uranium.

"Unfortunately after America's violation (of the deal) and treachery and its getting out of its commitments, the Europeans too either failed to carry out their duties, or couldn't do so, or both", Rouhani told parliament. Later, Iranian diplomatic sources told Bloomberg that Tehran would like to obtain a permit to export at least 700,000 barrels of oil, while consequently the trading volume should reach 1.5 million barrels if the Western countries intend to negotiate preservation of the nuclear deal with Iran.

"We have received several proposals (to have talks with the United States) and our answer has always been negative".

The disappearance of the Adrian Darya 1, formerly known as the Grace 1, follows a pattern of Iranian oil tankers turning off their Automatic Identification System to try and mask where they deliver their cargo amid USA sanctions targeting Iran's energy industry.

The Iranian top diplomat referred to the meetings between the Iranian ministers who are accompanying him during the trip with their Russian counterparts as a sign of Iran-Russia strategic and deep-rooted relations.

In this context, the French president laid out the proposal to bring Iran back into compliance with the JCPOA to his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump. "Otherwise we will take our third step".

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Tuesday in an interview with the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper that the step would be taken on September 6.

A public vote was then held, with goals from Lionel Messi , Juan Fernando Quintero and Daniel Zsori making the final shortlist. Lionel Messi , Cristiano Ronaldo , and Virgil van Dijk have been named as the finalists for The Best FIFA Men's Player Award.

Rouhani voiced regret over the failure of European nations to fulfil pledges they made during negotiations.

"Unfortunately after this unilateral move by the US, European countries did not take concrete measures to implement their commitments".

"What we are asking of the other countries is that they continue to buy our oil".

On Monday, an Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said the third step would be "stronger than the first and the second steps", but he gave no further details.

Iran will not agree to bilateral negotiations with the United States until all sanctions are lifted, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, according to the Iranian Mehr news agency.

A conservative Iranian MP said Macron had proposed offering Iran a $15bn credit line on condition it returned to the fold.

Araghchi said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had shared the options with his French counterpart Macron during a recent series of phone conversations.

It also said Iran's total stockpile of uranium, which under the accord should be no more than the equivalent of 300 kilograms (661 pounds) of uranium hexafluoride, now stood at roughly 360 kilograms.
