After brother charged, Simone Biles says her heart aches

Her brother Tevin Biles-Thomas, 24, of Cleveland, was arrested Thursday at Fort Stewart in Georgia in a New Year's Eve shooting at an Airbnb property, according to OH law officials.

The 24-year-old, who is an active-duty U.S. Army service member based in Fort Stewart, Georgia, is charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury, according to a statement from Cleveland police.

The Olympic gymnast took to Twitter on Monday evening to share with her fans that she's "still having a hard time processing last week's news". "There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone's pain, but I do want to express my honest condolences to everyone affected by this awful tragedy", Simone wrote in the statement. "This is a very personal and private situation for the Biles family and we will respect their privacy and hope others will do the same".

Authorities said the shooting started after a group of uninvited guests walked into a home and a fight began.

Devaughn Gibson, 23, DelVaunte Johnson, 19, Toshon Banks, 21, all died in the incident, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

Well now, following several days of relative silence after the news broke nationwide, the Olympic hero and five-time medalist is speaking out about her brother's alleged role in the deaths of three men.

It's not all love though; we've also included some of what the negative reviews - by far the minority at the moment - are saying. At least I did. "It's so unpredictable and there's a long way to go", before doubling down on one movie, " Joker , for sure".

"E$3 ating my feelings don't talk to me", she tweeted Thursday night.

Cleveland.com said it reached out to Biles for comment but the 22-year-old did not immediately respond.

Born in Columbus, Simone, Tevin and sisters, Adria and Ashley, were placed in foster care at a young age because their mother, Shannon Biles, struggled with addiction, The Washington Post previously reported. He is jailed in Liberty County, Georgia.

Biles-Thomas is expected to be arraigned on September 13.

Biles, according to USA Today, did not grow up with Biles-Thomas.
